  • Brent Blend composed of fifteen crude from fields in extraction systems of the Brent and Ninian fields in the North Sea crude production in Europe, Africa and the Middle East continues the trend marked by the prices of crude.
  •  West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for the U.S. crude.
  •  Dubai is used as a reference for the production of crude oil for the Asia-Pacific region.
  •  Tapis (Malaysia), used as a reference for light crude from the Far East.
     Minas (Indonesia), used as a reference for heavy crude oil from the Far East.
  •  Lightweight Arabian from Saudi Arabia
  •  Nigerian Bonny Light

  •  OPEC tries to keep its basket prices between upper and lower limits, raising or lowering their production. The OPEC basket is usually heavier than the Brent and WTI crude.
